Return and Refund Policy

At Test Your World, operated by BRS Lab Services, a Michigan company, we provide laboratory-based testing services for consumer insight. Because our services involve shipping test kits and analyzing samples, refunds are limited as outlined below.


1. Refunds for Unused Kits

  • If you request a refund after your kit has been shipped but before submitting a sample, we will issue a refund for the purchase price minus a $10 shipping and handling fee.
  • You do not need to return the kit to us.

2. Kits With Samples Submitted

  • Once a sample has been collected and mailed back for processing, the testing service is considered rendered and no refunds are available.
  • If your sample cannot be processed due to a laboratory error, we will provide either a free replacement kit or a full refund.

3. Shipping Issues

  • If your kit is lost or damaged during shipping, contact us within 7 days of receipt (or expected delivery date) and we will send a replacement at no charge.

4. Processing Delays

  • Standard turnaround time is 7–10 days from mailing, but this may vary due to postal transit or seasonal volume.
  • Delays caused by postal services or improper sample collection are outside our control and are not grounds for refund.

Please include your order number, confirmation code, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.


6. Non-Refundable Items

  • The $10 shipping and handling fee (once a kit has been mailed)
  • Kits with collected samples
  • Services already rendered
